Our life skills curriculum covers a wide range of topics aimed at promoting personal development and well-being. Traditional Learning Centre offers certified hands-on instruction from certified industry professionals. Our students will earn recognized industry certifications and credentials in various fields through both in-class learning and a hands-on approach.
CLEAN FULL-SERVICE ACCOMODATIONS FOR STUDENTS
Comfort and convenient on-site housing is available at the Traditional Learning Centre. With 10 cozy rooms available, we can house up to 22 students at a time. Whatever you prefer, your own space or sharing with a friend, our accomodations cater to your needs. Enjoy a supportive learning environment while feeling right at home with our room and board accomodations.

EARTH'S TABLE COMMERCIAL COOKING CLASS
Learn how to create healthy nutritious meals with a focus on organic wild ingredients. Learn how to process and preserve your food obtained from the land. The goal is to focus on your health and the people around you! You can be part of meal planning and creating healthy meals and snacks. Have you ever planted a garden and harvested the vegetables? Canning, pickling and freezing the produce is just a part of this program.
Learn how to make food fun and interesting, using natural ingredients. Baking, pastry, soups and quantity food production are just a few of the skills you will learn and practice. In Our Programs we have the ability to be flexible to meet your needs. Just ask!

BACK TO BASICS - TRADITIONAL TEACHINGS
Learn How to live off the land through hunting, trapping and fishing. Find out where we been to move forward into the future!
This one of a kind program captures teaching, wisdom, and guidance from elders in all of our programs.Â
CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
Would you like to learn how to use power tools and equipment, and gain basic building skills to create DIY projects or gain employment? Have you ever used a saw mill for rough cut lumber? Well you can through this program! Learn about framing, site layout, exterior finishings, and roof coverings, interior finishings, math and communications. Be part of a team that creates small buildings and learn how to safely use equipment. In our programs we are flexible to meet your needs. Enjoying your learning? Stay and complete another term!
HEAVY MECHANICS
Ever wonder how to operate a large machine like a back hoe or a skid steer? Well you get behind the controls and learn to utilize what mother earth has to offer, by creating ponds, dugouts, and even learn to build a road! In this program you are able to learn how to grade the land to promote water drainage, and how to complete a build site. You are able to learn how to do large scale work like digging a basement and watching for obstacles like power lines and underground wires, to land scaping a finished property the possibilities are endless. In our programs we are flexible with the equipment used, and are able to customize to your needs. Just Ask!
COMMUNITY SAFETY TRAINING
Does your community need safety through a learning program that focuses on identifying counseling opportunities? This program provides physical training and resources to be effective in identifying and preventing potential concerns in your community. Skills learned in this program can allow an individual to be a liaison in the community with the ability to assist local authorities. We can design our program to meet your needs.
NEW BEGINNINGS
This is a program designed to provide new beginnings for individuals as well as providing new beginnings for the repair and revitalization of appliances and repairing infrastructure as required.
This program can provide the Band with a Handyman/Maintenance person to perform duties as required. Or this training can provide the opportunity for a Band member(s) to start up a small business providing needed services to the community.
